Salle Frank Martin – Geneva

The SWISS CHAMBER ACADEMY was founded by Daniel Haefliger in 2014. From the very beginning the teaching staff has included musicians from the foremost string quartets: Rainer Schmid from the Hagen Quartet, Ruth Kills and Thomas Zehetmair from the Zehetmair Quartet, Hatto Bayerle from the Alban Berg Quartet as well as the composer, orchestra conductor and oboist Heinz Holliger, all of whom have left their mark on the musical culture of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The Academy brings together the best young international ensembles in collaboration with music conservatories in Switzerland and Europe to create a new wave of young artists of the highest caliber. Building on the success of previous years we look forward to moments of unforgettable experiences, the fruit of hard work amplified by the sharing of emotions between generations.
