Martin Müller has studied the piano and the instruments with an historical keyboard at the High School of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau with Ludwig Doerr, Robert-Alexander Bohnke and Robert Hill. After having got his diploma for sacred music and as a soloist for harpsychord, he went on spending more time on chamber music. He played in many concerts as a soloist, e.g. with Heinz Holliger, in Boston, New York and Salzburg Festivals with famous orchestras such as The Freiburger Barockorchester, The Münchner Barockorchester, The Berlin Philharmonie,The Symphonic Radio Orchestra from Hesse, The Wintherthur Musikkollegium, the Bern Camerata, The Kölner Akademie, The Zurich Collegium Novum and the Balthasar-Neumann-Ensemble. He has made radio recordings and CDs, accompanied Lieder and has been showing his big experience as a pianist and harpsycordist, this with specialized ensemble of barock or contemporary music.
He has been formed by conductors such as Nikolaus Harnoncourt, René Jacobs. Heinz Holliger, Francis Travis, Gottfried von des Goltz ans Pablo Heras-Casado.
Since 1994, he teaches at The Freiburg im Breisgau Musikhochschule. He is as well the studies director of Solothurn Cantus Firmus Ensemble for barock and classic opera productions. He is as well a collaborator for the new edition of the instrumental works by Corelli, Telemann, Kleinknecht and Leopold Mozart.
